Il a rejoint Mercy Ships pour la premi\u00e8re fois en novembre 2023 en tant que directeur des op\u00e9rations de l&rsquo;ASC au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et a \u00e9galement jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important en tant que directeur national int\u00e9rimaire \u00e0 Madagascar lors des n\u00e9gociations avec le gouvernement malgache sur la mani\u00e8re dont l&rsquo;organisation pouvait offrir un soutien au pays.<\/p>\n<p>Gilchrist est originaire du Togo et vit et travaille actuellement au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, o\u00f9 il a obtenu une licence en droit, communication et marketing. Il est \u00e9galement titulaire d&rsquo;un master en administration des affaires, avec une sp\u00e9cialisation en gestion strat\u00e9gique et en leadership, d\u00e9livr\u00e9 par le r\u00e9put\u00e9 British Business College. Son succ\u00e8s l&rsquo;a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 cofonder ROLSI (Royalty Lingua Services International). Avec son \u00e9quipe, il propose des services de traduction, d&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation de conf\u00e9rence, de pr\u00e9sentation de conf\u00e9rence et de tutorat linguistique aux agences des Nations unies, aux ambassades, aux ONG, aux \u00e9glises et aux organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile dans toute l&rsquo;Afrique.<\/p>\n<p>En 2015, Gilchrist est devenu responsable de la communication et de la collecte de fonds au sein du Christian Broadcasting Network, un m\u00e9dia humanitaire dont le si\u00e8ge se trouve \u00e0 Virginia Beach, aux \u00c9tats-Unis, o\u00f9 il a men\u00e9 des approches strat\u00e9giques essentielles dans 23 pays francophones d&rsquo;Afrique. En l&rsquo;espace de neuf ans, il est devenu responsable des op\u00e9rations, directeur des op\u00e9rations et directeur r\u00e9gional. Gilchrist a conserv\u00e9 une profonde passion pour le mentorat tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re, en fondant le programme de mentorat \u00ab Equipped to Equip Others \u00bb qui aide les jeunes professionnels \u00e0 travers l&rsquo;Afrique \u00e0 avoir un impact positif sur leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Gilchrist a voyag\u00e9 dans plus de 25 pays et parle couramment quatre langues.
