Mercy Ships has built a long-lasting relationship with Ghana, with five field services spanning from 1991 to the most recent visit in 2007. Each of these stays was an opportunity to work alongside Ghana’s leaders and people to provide surgical care and medical capacity building assistance. In 2021, Mercy Ships partnered with Ghana once more to support the country’s pandemic response through emergency Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donations.
