In 1978, Mercy Ships began sailing on our mission to provide hope and healing to those who need it most. Each year, we’ve been able to provide safe, life-changing surgeries to a greater number of people.

To date, Mercy Ships has performed over 122,000 surgical procedures and provided training for thousands of local healthcare professionals across Africa. Every port brings new challenges, new successes, and new transformations.

Craniofacial tumors, cleft lip, cleft palate, and ear-nose-throat diseases.
